Wave Direct came to Total Processing with two key objectives: to reduce their risk appetite and improve the customer experience. They sought out a payments partner that could deliver alternative payment methods capable of providing their customers with secure financing options.

Total Processing provided Wave Direct customers with popularly demanded payment methods from its payment portfolio when they checkout.

With the option to pay via the likes of Apple Pay and Klarna, incidences of fraud have been drastically reduced with natively occurring fraud liability shifts and 3D secure 2.0 authentication protocols.

Simultaneously, Total Processing supplied Wave Direct with Total Defender; its chargeback defence service - located directly within its core business platform - Total Control. With Total Defender, Wave Direct is able to de-escalate transactions categorised as high risk whilst defending chargebacks in as little as 2-clicks.
